What Photography Lighting equipment would be needed for Graduation Ball? (UK)?
I have been doing Wedding Photography and nightclub photography fo a year now and have recently been asked to do portraits and a Graduation Ball…. My question is what equipment with regards to lighting would I need as the client has asked for posed photos, so I presume I would need a white/marble grey background?? and maybe two lighting units…. Can anyone suggest what would be best for this and for a reasonable price?
Thanks
At a minimum you’ll need two decent light sources for background work. A main light off camera and a fill on camera is the minimum. The off camera lights should have nodeling lights unless you REALLY know what you’re doing. Main and fill off camera is usually the next level. Followed by background light and or hair highlight. A soft box for the main is high end solution as it’s quality of light is considered better and gives that window like (rectangle) shaped catch light.
