Where can I sell my photography from?

I am just starting out but I know there are some places online you can sell your photography from but was hoping someone could suggest what is the best way to go. I’m not going to open a gallery or anything, but figured I’d see if ppl were interested in buying some of my work.

I heard some people are making a lot of money from eBay selling photos.

Online is not an easy place to sell stock photos at good prices, there are a lot of competitions. Do not depend solely on selling online. Your local magazines and newspapers are usually better source of income. If you capture unique moments at a public event, many publishers will pay good money for it even if they had their own photographers at the events. It is best to approach photo editors (many are too busy to bother with amateurs) with actual photo that might interest them. For example, travel section editor might be interested in unique photos of some vacations spots. Sports editor might be interested in “perfect” picture of a baseball player’s bat hitting the ball for a game winning home run.

FYI, many beginning pros support themselves financially by taking wedding photos, youth sports, etc.
